has any1 stayed a Laguna park 2 in Tenerife??? was it as bad as alot of reviews i have read???

stayed in languna park 2 from 15/1/ 2010 for 11nights. i did not think it was as bad as the reviews made it out 2 be. it is up on a hill but is only about 15 to 20 mins walk 2 were all shops are .the hotel runs a free bus 2 take u in to town and a taxi back is 5 euros.the rooms were basic but maids cleaned rooms 5 days a week .we were self catering and we had a fridge mircowave cooker with oven and kettle which were all clean.never ate in hotel but was told by other people the food was not good . we ate in a place just down the hill from hotel on the way into town called charlie which was lovely .you got a 3 course meal for 8 euros which was well worth the money . there is also a chinese in town that does a hot buffet for 6.50euros and u can eat as much as u like. they have good shows on everynight in hotel. the only thing i did not like was u had 2 pay 20euros a week 2 watch tv in u room .we had a great holiday and the weather was fab.
